Michelle Dinnen-Owens is a National Advisor for The Alliance for a Healthier Generation. She has been at HG for the past thirteen years, providing technical assistance, professional development training and resource development for schools and out-of-school time sites focused on the whole child in the areas of physical activity, healthy eating and social emotional health for students and staff. Michelle has over 20 years of experience in training and curriculum development. Prior to her work in the field of school health, she was an elementary and middle school teacher, counselor, curriculum developer for Foundations, Inc., and a national trainer for John’s Hopkins University and the Success for All Program. Michelle lives in the Outer Banks of NC with her husband and three children.
