Nebraska Healthy Schools Conference
No matter how well teachers are prepared to teach, no matter what accountability measures are put in place, no matter what governing structures are established for schools, educational progress will be profoundly limited if students are not healthy, supported, motivated and able to learn.

School staff, students, community members, public health professionals and health advocates are invited to join their peers to learn about best practices in promoting the health and wellbeing of staff and students. Sessions will address the current pandemic and health challenges in our schools and strategies to create a new normal while support the needs of the whole child.
Presentations will be delivered from national speakers as well as local experts on key areas of school health, staff wellness, nutrition services, health services, mental health, suicide prevention and physical activity.
On the schedule tab the day of the conference (October 20th) there will be watch buttons added to each session, the watch buttons will appear and be live at 8am on the 20th. The watch buttons will take you into the Zoom Session. If Zoom fails to launch you into a meeting, you may need to manually open the Zoom application on your computer.
